One Westminster help Westminster residents, and people living and studying in the borough to find an ideal volunteering opportunity based on interests and type of volunteer activity they would like to do.
We have hundreds of volunteer roles across Westminster to ensure that you can gain maximum benefit throughout your volunteering journey. These include volunteering opportunities in museums, schools, hospitals, befriending, mentoring, catering, fundraising, administrative support, I.T. roles, charity shops, gardening and many more.
It is easy to find a volunteer opportunity – just visit the Team Westminster Website – www.westminster.gov.uk/volunteering. Alternatively, you can visit our drop-in at our offices held every other Thursday between 10am to 3pm.
You can also attend our free ‘introduction to volunteering workshop’ run in partnership with Westminster Adult Education Service, which is normally held once a month. This short workshop is an ideal way to find out more background information about volunteering.
One Westminster can also provide support to volunteer involving organisations so they can advertise volunteer opportunities on the Team Westminster Website. Our opportunity development officer can also provide individual support to ensure that they can develop volunteering opportunities to suit their specific needs.
